Integrative health

Integrative therapies treat the whole person: body, mind and spirit. They combine medical care with therapies from other healing traditions.

Integrative therapies may include:

  • relaxation techniques
  • music
  • visualization or guided imagery
  • acupuncture
  • massage
  • aromatherapy

Integrative therapies can:

  • help manage pain, nausea or anxiety
  • help promote relaxation and well-being
  • support healing and recovery from an illness or surgery
