Your health history and physical exam

Before your surgery, your primary care doctor will need to do a health history and physical exam. The exam will evaluate your current health status. Now is a good time to call your clinic to schedule your appointment.

Try to schedule this exam about two weeks before your surgery date. This will give you enough time to have any additional testing needed.

Your health history and physical exam cannot be completed more than 30 days before your surgery.
