Foreskin care

Foreskin care

If you have chosen not to have your baby circumcised, the penis needs no special care. Simply wash the genital area with soap and water during your baby's bath. Do not force the foreskin back. This can cause bleeding, pain and possible scarring.

As your child grows, the foreskin will loosen on its own. This can take three or more years. As your child grows and the foreskin can be pulled back, your child can then be taught how to care for their penis.
