High number of influenza hospitalizations in Minnesota

[KMSP-TV Fox 9 News, January 09, 2025] The Minnesota Department of Health says the state had a record number of influenza hospitalizations for the week ending January 4, 2025. Frank Rhame, MD, an infectious disease physician with Allina Health, calls the rate of infections unusual. He says there are two things you can do to protect yourself and the people you care about from getting sick: wash your hands and get influenza vaccine. He did an interview with FOX 9 News, which you can watch below.
