    president

    Prior to joining River Falls Area Hospital, Miller served for ten years as the vice president, operations, for United Hospital in St. Paul, Minn., where he led the development of the John Nasseff Neuroscience Institute, the St. Paul Cancer Center and the Peter J. King Emergency Center, along with overseeing multiple patient care departments, support services departments and strategic initiatives. Miller is also a former nationally registered paramedic and served as the president of Allina Health Emergency Medical Services and Allina Health Urgent Care Clinics.

    Miller earned an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. He also serves on the board of Life Link III, a non-profit organization providing safe and effective air medical transport across Minnesota and Wisconsin.

    Bruce Craven

    director of operations and finance

    In his role as director of operations and finance, Bruce Craven is responsible for financial oversight and participates in strategic planning, contracting and other operational matters.

    He has worked with Allina Health since 2008, coming to the health system from Fairview Health Services, where he also worked in the area of business and finance. Previously, he worked at Adventist Health System in Hinsdale, Illinois and Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

    Bruce holds a master’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in health care administration from Loyola University in Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska.

    Jen Loesch

    director of patient care services

    As the director of patient care services at the River Falls Area Hospital, Jen Loesch provides oversight for the practice of nursing and designing, providing, and improving patient care services. Prior to her current role at River Falls Area Hospital, Loesch held a variety of positions within clinical quality and direct patient care nursing. She has a bachelor of science degree in Nursing from the College of St. Catherine and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Business Administration with a health care focus at St. Catherine University. Loesch also serves on the board of directors for the River Falls Chamber of Commerce.

    Kristen Novak

    director of human resources

    In her role as director of human resources at River Falls Area Hospital, Kristen Novak administers human resource policies, benefits and compensation programs, employee-relation services and labor-management relation services.

    Prior to joining River Falls Area Hospital, Novak held multiple human resource roles at Green Tree Servicing Corporation, including vice president of human resources. In that capacity, she provided oversight for employee relations, recruitment, benefits, compensation and change agent efforts.

    Novak has a bachelor's degree in organizational communication and business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and holds PHR Certification from the Society for Human Resources Management.

    Heather Logelin

    director of foundation and community engagement

    In her role as foundation director, Heather Logelin oversees the hospital's philanthropic initiatives and provides staff leadership to the River Falls Area Hospital Foundation board of trustees. Logelin is also the Allina Health community engagement lead for western Wisconsin, working with the hospital board of trustees’ community engagement committee and other community partners to develop and implement community health improvement initiatives throughout the region.

    Logelin serves on the board of the Free Clinic of Pierce and St. Croix Counties, the Family Resource Center St. Croix Valley and St. Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity. She also serves on the executive leadership board for the United Way St. Croix Valley's "Success by 6" early childhood initiative, on the steering committee of Healthier Together St. Croix County, and is an active member of the River Falls Rotary Club.

    Logelin has an MBA in nonprofit management from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California.
