Allina Health offers mental health resources for teens in Spanish

[CCX Media, September 26, 2021] Allina Health provides an online hub of mental health resources to teens on a website called ChangetoChill.org. They are now offering the same resources to teens in Spanish.

“Bringing the website to the Spanish language opens the door to reach out to more of the Latino community that has been growing in the Twin Cities,” explained Change to Chill advocate Esme Garcia.
Mental health professionals and teens from around the area helped create the website that is packed with content to help young people manage stress and anxiety.

“We have information and activities to help teens understand impacts of stress and anxiety and also to help them build coping skills and resiliency. We have coping skills that helps teens understand where to start which helps them identify where their stressors are and then directs them to specific content on the website about mindfulness,” said Sydney Hobert, a community health improvement specialist with Allina Health.
