Minnesota students report increased mental health issues

[KARE 11, October 17, 2019] The Minnesota Student Survey is out and it shows something troubling. Our kids are telling us, in this survey, that many of them are struggling with mental health issues.

In fact it says more Minnesota students than ever report having long-term mental health, behavioral or emotional problems.

Allina Health child and adolescent psychiatrist Dr. Marybeth Lardizabal says we need to put more resources into our schools to help teachers and students deal with these problems.
