[Sun Focus, March 15, 2019] Change to Chill, Allina Health’s award-winning mental well-being program, recently offered free training sessions to share the program’s techniques more widely.

Change to Chill works as a guide to help teens become more aware of the things that stress them out, and equip them with tools and resources to better manage stress and anxiety and live happier, more resilient lives.

According to Allina Community Health Program Coordinator Kaila Lillehei, the program officially launched in Nov. 2014 as a website after an Allina community health needs assessment revealed mental health crisis across Allina’s entire service area.

“Every three years Allina Health conducts a community health needs assessment and we continued to see mental health as a priority in 2016, and now again in our 2019 health assessment,” said Lillehei.

Today, the program also includes training seminars and school partnerships.
