Beginnings by Allina Health is your go-to app for the entire pregnancy journey, now supporting early childhood and multiple children.
Take Heart App
The Take Heart cardiovascular app guides you through the things you will need to do before and after a heart procedure at Allina Health.
Manage your health care from the palm of your hand. You’ll have access to the capabilities of the Allina Health account like fast and easy appointment scheduling, secure medical messaging, access to lab results and electronic health records, and on-demand virtual care, in addition to app-only features like:
- Wayfinding functionality that will guide you via digital maps to easily find your destination within some Allina Health hospitals
- Fingerprint-enabled account access
- Mobile bill pay
Each week, you’ll find caring and insightful information from Allina Health pregnancy care experts (OB/GYNs, family medicine physicians, midwives and perinatologists) on what you may experience both physically and emotionally throughout your pregnancy.
After delivery, we will continue to offer guidance and educational content to navigate early childhood provided by Allina Health pediatric experts, as well as tips for parenting. Beginnings supports multiple children and pregnancy simultaneously.
In addition to great educational content, you’ll also have access to features like:

The Take Heart app guides you through the things you need to do before and after a heart procedure. You’ll be asked to answer a few questions about your medical history to tailor the app to your unique needs, and then you’ll have access to features like:
- Custom care plan tailored to your unique needs
- Detailed guidance on how to prepare before and after your heart procedure
- Weight tracker to record your weight daily
- Optional notifications about tasks you need to complete, without having to open the app
