Pharmacy residency application

The Mercy Pharmacy Residency Program seeks residents that have pharmacy working experience, participation in extracurricular and volunteer activities and the ability to work efficiently and productively in an independent manner.

Expectations

  • Resident goals should align with our objectives
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
  • NAPLEX and MN Pharmacy Law exam successfully completed before July 1

Application requirements

  • Submit all material through the PhORCAS system
  • Application deadline is January 1 of each year
  • PGY1 NMS Code: 167513 – our PGY1 residency program moved to a single match number in 2018

Interviews

  • Interviews for invited applicants will take place during January and February 
  • A short presentation is required during the interview
  • Meet with the director of pharmacy, clinical managers, operations managers, preceptors, technicians and current residents
