Meet our Fellows

2025 - 2026 Administrative Fellows

Bolu Gbadebo

It is with great enthusiasm that I join Allina Health as an Administrative Fellow. As someone who calls Minnesota home, I am excited to contribute to our community's healthcare landscape and work alongside dedicated professionals who share my commitment to improving patient care.

Currently, I am an Extended Administrative Resident at UPMC, where I analyze patient access data to implement strategic changes that address social determinants of health. My work involves optimizing physician scheduling templates and workflows, allowing me to see firsthand how interconnected various areas of healthcare are and how they impact patient experiences. This past summer, I also had the opportunity to serve as a Patient Safety Fellow at the Jewish Healthcare Foundation in Pittsburgh. In this role, I explored innovative safety solutions and quality improvement strategies, identifying actionable initiatives that enhance patient safety in healthcare settings. These experiences reinforced my understanding of the critical importance of operational excellence and patient-centered care.

Prior to the start of my MHA program at the University of Pittsburgh, my journey in healthcare began with roles at Takeda Pharmaceutical and Bio-Techne in R&D Systems. At Takeda, I gained valuable insights into pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, while at Bio-Techne, I streamlined workflows and supported customer inquiries. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the multifaceted nature of healthcare and the importance of collaboration across different sectors.

Additionally, my role as a Healthcare Manager at Green Lakes Home allowed me to lead a team in significantly improving care quality for residents. This position taught me the value of effective communication and teamwork in achieving positive outcome.

Outside of my personal engagements, I am actively involved in community and professional services with organizations like ACHE, NAHSE and Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. These engagements have further fueled my passion for promoting inclusivity and equity in healthcare delivery.

I am eager to embark on this new chapter with Allina Health, where I look forward to collaborating with fellow leaders to drive meaningful change and enhance the health of our community.

Claire Wierschke

Over the last two years I have had the opportunity to be a part of the Ambulatory Operations team at Iowa Health Care. I gained valuable experience in quality improvement and operational efficiency by leading several projects, including developing clinical scorecards with customized KPI visualizations, creating a staffing calculator for the pediatric specialty clinic, and standardizing procedure scheduling across three Internal Medicine locations. These opportunities allowed me to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams and enhance my skills in data-driven decision-making and process optimization.

As I wrap up my final year at Iowa with the Ambulatory team, I continue to work on operational efficiency projects in various departments providing me a multifaceted perspective of the interconnected aspects of patient care and operations.

Previously, I served as a Community Support Manager at Community Living Connections, where I supervised care teams and supported individuals in achieving greater independence. I also worked closely with families, care providers, and community organizations to ensure personalized, high-quality care. This experience taught me the importance of a patient first perspective and drove me to find an organization dedicated to community engagement.

I look forward to collaborating with the team and learning from you all as I begin my career and continue to grow at Allina Health.
