The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is warning about a red meat allergy caused by a tick bite!
A bite by a Lone Star tick can cause alpha-gal syndrome (AGS). Allina Health allergist Pramod Kelkar, MD, and one of his patients spoke to FOX 9 News about what AGS is, how the tick bite causes it and how AGS affects the body.
