Construction on the new center began in January after a design process that included community input.
The center offers preventative care, early detection and treatment, including surgery, chemotherapy and infusion, as well as rehabilitation, palliative care and survivorship care.
“We want all our patients to have access to the same level of expert care, close to home, and this expansion will ensure we can address the care needs of this community for years to come,” Dr. Badrinath Konety, president of Allina Health Cancer Institute, said in a statement.
