Effects of Dry January on overall health

[WCCO, December 30, 2022] Dry January has become a trend in recent years. People choose to abstain from drinking alcohol for the month of January. WCCO-TV News spoke with Allina Health family medicine physician, Ravi Balasubrahmanyan, MD, about the positive effects you may experience from giving up alcohol, even for a month, from cardiovascular changes to improved mood and better skin. He also discussed best ways to set yourself up for success such as doing it with a buddy and letting your support system know your plan.
