COVID vaccine boosters targeting newest variants approved

[KSTP-TV News, August 31, 2022] Dr. Frank Rhame, an infectious disease physician at Abbott Northwestern Hospital called it “significant” that the FDA authorized the booster for nearly every age group.

“Shows you that they really are quite high on it,” said Dr. Rhame. “They wouldn’t go down to the young people unless they really thought it was going to offer some benefit.”

The authorization comes just before Labor Day, as many Minnesota children prepare to return to school.
