Only 9% of teens get recommended level of physical activity

[WCCO-TV News, June 06, 2022] The experts say kids up to the age of 18 should get at least an hour of physical activity a day, but a new survey says only 9 percent of kids are getting the recommended amount of activity. That's down from 16 percent before the pandemic. Erin Vesey, a physical therapist at Allina Health’s Courage Kenny for Kids, talked with WCCO TV News about the new survey, why that number is down and how we can get kids moving again.
