'Work of HeArt' honors workers at COVID-19 vaccine hub

[CCX News, January 18, 2022] A little over one year ago, COVID-19 vaccinations began in Minnesota, including at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute in Golden Valley, where thousands of people received the vaccine. Now one year later, a piece of artwork is paying tribute to that effort.

The canvas art piece, titled “A Work of HeArt,” symbolizes all the work that went into the Courage Kenny vaccine drive that went on for about six months. Every splash of color was done by a person who contributed to the effort, including volunteer nurses, pharmacists and security staff. The art took about a week to make.
