Amid talk of a third COVID vaccine shot, some confusion

[KSTP-TV News, August 20, 2021] In one month, anyone who has already received both Pfizer or Moderna vaccine doses can get a third shot to boost their antibodies against COVID-19. Immunocompromised individuals can get a third dose now. Researchers are still investigating if Johnson & Johnson vaccine recipients with weak immune systems need a second shot. Is it any wonder some people are confused about what to do next.

“I acknowledge it gets a little confusing right now and when reports kind of come out early because everybody's excited to learn about it,” Dr. Kevin Best, Allina Health vaccine committee representative, said.
