Commission calls for increased study of women's heart disease

[MPR News, May 18, 2021] The medical journal Lancet's women and cardiovascular disease Commission says in a new report that heart disease in women is understudied, under-recognized, underdiagnosed, and undertreated. Dr. Retu Saxena, a cardiologist at Allina Health's Minneapolis Heart Institute talked with MPR News about the report and some of the differences of heart disease in women and men.
