East Lake Clinic staff thanks alert neighbor, prepares for COVID-19 vaccine clinic

[KSTP, March 05, 2021] Allina Health’s East Lake Street clinic was at the heart of the unrest in Minneapolis that followed the death of George Floyd last spring. An alert neighbor helped protect the clinic from extensive damage, allowing the clinic to quickly reopen and continue providing care for the surrounding community. As the clinic prepared for a community COVID-19 vaccine clinic, KSTP-TV talked with staff about why the East Lake Street clinic is such an important part of the South Minneapolis community.
