New Allina Health surgery center to open in Brooklyn Park in early 2022

[CCX Media, February 26, 2021] As health care continues to evolve, one particular area that’s changing is where surgeries are performed.

As opposed to having surgery at a traditional hospital, there is a shift to having more surgeries done at more efficient and less costly ambulatory surgery centers. In early 2022, a brand new surgery center will open in Brooklyn Park.

The new surgery center will be located along the growing Highway 610 corridor, off the Zane Avenue exit. Allina Health System and Surgical Care Affiliates, a division of Optum, have partnered to lease the new facility that will be developed by the Davis group. The 18,000-square-foot surgery center will be the main tenant within a larger medical building developed at the site.
