Using poetry and music to inspire hope

[CBS Morning News, January 05, 2021] Doctors and nurses, overwhelmed and exhausted, are trying to come to terms with the loss of life in this pandemic. In Minnesota, one Allina Health nurse has turned to poetry.

Erin Pommeranz is a hospice nurse. She authored a poem called "COVID-19." People in her workplace decided to turn the poem into a video. Erin and another nurse from California were featured in a story aired in the CBS This Morning program.
