Allina Health clinics offers doctors tool to help patients with prescription costs

The new program allows doctors to provide real-time prescription pricing information from within the patients electronic medical record. It shows the doctor how much the patient will pay for a prescription, based on the specific insurance coverage and the pharmacy.
