Melanoma Monday promotes skin cancer awareness

As it has for the past six years, Allina Health offered free skin cancer screenings on Melanoma Monday, the first Monday of every May. Allina Health dermatologist Dr. Elizabeth Farhat told WCCO-TV News that caught early, skin cancer is easily curable, but left untreated it can be deadly.
