More getting plastic surgery than ever before

[WCCO-TV, March 26, 2019] Almost 18 million people might look a little different today than they did a year ago, according to data released by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons on Monday. The organization composed of board-certified plastic surgeons reported seeing a rise in overall plastic surgery and nearly a quarter million more cosmetic procedures in 2018 compared with 2017 in its annual statistics report. An uptick in minimally invasive procedures isn't surprising, as more are available now than in years past.

Allina Health plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Cameron talked with WCCO-TV about what's behind the growing number of people deciding to get a nip, a tuck or an injection.
