Women’s Heart Health

Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute is dedicated to offering support, education and clinical services for both women living with heart disease as well as those seeking preventive care.

More women die of heart disease than from the next four causes of death combined, including all forms of cancer. Eighty percent of cardiac events in women could be prevented if women made the right choices for their hearts involving diet, exercise and abstinence from smoking.
