Women’s Heart Health Program

More women die of heart disease than from the next four causes of death combined, including all forms of cancer.

80 percent of cardiac events in women could be prevented if women made the right choices for their hearts involving diet, exercise and abstinence from smoking.

For these reasons, Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute's Women's Heart Health Program is dedicated to offering support, education and clinical services to help women prevent and live with heart disease.
