The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals.

Allina Health Mental Health

Call the Mental Health & Addiction Connection line, 866-603-0016, for any mental health or addiction service, question or concern, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A trained counselor will assess your situation and connect you to needed resources and let you know when to get help. First Call for Help

This database connects callers to thousands of resources (for example grief support, housing and mental health services) throughout Minnesota.

Domestic Abuse Project (DAP)

DAP has legal & community advocacy at three sites in Minneapolis. Call 612-673-3526 for more information. DAP also has therapy services for men, women, adolescents and children. For more information about those services or for other referrals call 612-874-7063 and ask to speak to the First Call Desk which is staffed weekdays between 10 am and 4 pm.

Hennepin County Medical Center's Acute Psychiatric Services offers counseling through a crisis intervention phone service and a suicide hotline.
