General visiting hours 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (After 6 p.m., visitors should park in the Emergency Department (ED) and enter the hospital through the ED doors.)
Visits help both patients and family or friends. It is important to remember that people in the hospital need rest and may be particularly sensitive to noise and activity.
As a patient, you will be asked if you wish to restrict visitors and telephone calls. If, at any time during your stay, you wish to limit visitors and calls, please tell the nursing staff.
District One Hospital has an open visitation policy. We recommend that friends and extended family follow visiting hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
NOTE: Visitors who are in the hospital after 6 p.m. must have a visitor ID. Visitors entering the building after 6 p.m. should use the Emergency Department entrance.
A family member may be able to spend the night with the patient. For more information, contact a member of the nursing team.
District One Hospital offers patients and visitors complimentary wireless access to the Internet.
For the safety and comfort of our patients, District One Hospital is a tobacco-free healthcare campus. Tobacco use of any kind is not permitted at any time in District One Hospital buildings or on its grounds. E-cigarettes are also prohibited.
Visitor parking is located near the east hospital entrance on State Avenue. The east entrance is open from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily.
