kelsey barnier

Kelsey Barnier

Kelsey is originally from Arden Hills, Minnesota. She has completed her BS in Biology at the University of St. Thomas and PharmD at Creighton University. Her current clinical practice interests include critical care, emergency medicine and infectious disease. Upon completion of her residency, Kelsey would like to pursue a PGY2 in critical care or work as a clinical pharmacist in an acute care setting.

Outside of pharmacy, Kelsey enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, staying active and watching Minnesota sports.

chistopher caracci

Christopher is originally from Des Moines, Iowa. He has completed his PharmD and Master of Public Administration at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. His current clinical areas of interest include critical care, pain management, infectious disease and administration. Upon completion of his residency, Chris would like to pursue a PGY-2 in Health-System Pharmacy Administration or critical care and pursue Board Certification in Pharmacology.

Outside of pharmacy, Chris enjoys trying new restaurants and breweries, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

kathryn jeffy

Kathyrn Jeffy

Kate is originally from Crystal, Minnesota. She has completed her BS in Biology and PharmD at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Her current interests include critical care, cardiology and emergency medicine. Upon completion of her residency, Kate would like to work as a clinical pharmacist in the acute care setting and become a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.

Outside of pharmacy, Kate enjoys biking, visiting breweries and playing with her dog.

samantha larson

Samantha Larson

Samantha is originally from Forest Lake, Minnesota. She has completed her BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences and PharmD at North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota. Her current clinical areas of interests include oncology, critical care and cardiology. Upon completion of her residency Samantha would like to either obtain a PGY2 in oncology or pursue Board Certification in Pharmacology and work as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting.

Outside of pharmacy Samantha enjoys playing on the lake (wakeboarding/wake surfing), snowboarding, hiking and traveling.

PGY-2 residents

patrick hoheisel

Patrick J. Hoheisel, PharmD

Patrick is originally from Onamia, Minnesota. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Cellular Biology from the University of Minnesota in 2006 and worked at Mayo Clinic for 7 years, most recently as an assistant supervisor of the clinical Cytogenetics laboratory. He then received his PharmD from the University of Minnesota in 2017 with a leadership emphasis. He completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Upon completion of his PGY2 in Health-System Pharmacy Administration, Patrick plans to pursue a clinical manager position in the hospital setting.

Outside of pharmacy Patrick enjoys photography, Houston Astros baseball, and exploring new destinations and cuisine with his wife Sara.
