regina hospital nutrition room services

Room Service Dining offers patients the ability to order custom meals at a time that is most convenient for them.

The Room Service Dining program offers patients the opportunity to choose their meal from a sizable menu at no extra charge. No more rigid menus and scheduled serving times. Room service orders can be placed at any time between 7 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Patients simply call their order into a special phone line. The meal is individually prepared and delivered hot from the kitchen to the patient within 45 minutes. In addition to regular meals, Room Service Dining is available for patients on diabetic or cardiac diets.

Registered dietitians follow hospital patients during their stay if they are at nutritional risk, or if requested by a physician. If you are an inpatient at Allina Health United Hospital – Hastings Regina Campus, talk to your doctor or nurse if you are interested in a nutritional consult.

As part of Allina Health United Hospital – Hastings Regina Campus's Cardiac Rehabilitation program, a one-on-one consultation with a registered dietitian is included to learn about a heart healthy diet and explore ways to improve your eating lifestyle.
