Discover Abilities Expo showcases adaptive sports and recreation options from across the area

[Fox 9 News, KARE 11 News, WCCO News, April 20, 2024] Allina Health Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute hosted the Discover Abilities Expo presented by Coloplast on Saturday, April 20. More than 60 organizations showcased the adaptive sports and recreation options offered across the state of Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin. Attendees got a chance to try activities such as adaptive biking, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis and adaptive golfing.

The one-of-a-kind event was held at the University of Minnesota’s Recreation and Wellness Center. Three local television stations covered the event.
