Daylight saving time and the impact on sleep

[KSTP, March 08, 2024] The U.S. daylight saving time starts on the second Sunday in March, and it ends on the first Sunday in November. Adjusting the clocks causes many people anxiety as they try to calculate how much sleep they’ve gained or lost because of the time change.

Allina Health psychologist and sleep specialist Daniel Kessler, PsyD, LP spoke KSTP-TV as the community prepared to move their clocks up by one hour on Sunday, March 10, 2024. He wanted to remind people not to stress over the perceived hour of sleep lost. He explains why in the video below.
