Biden using CPAP. So what is a CPAP?

[WCCO Radio, June 29, 2023] President Joe Biden has recently begun using a CPAP machine to treat sleep apnea, the White House says, after indentations from straps were seen on both sides of his face Wednesday morning.

That raises the questions what is sleep apnea and how does a CPAP machine help. Allina Health pulmonologist and sleep specialist Dr. Andrew Stiehm joined WCCO Radio to answer those questions.
