Environmental sustainability

The world around us has a big influence on our health and our quality of life. As one of the region's largest health care providers, taking care of our environment is critical to ensure good health for our patients, employees and neighbors. Our environmental sustainability program is one of the important ways we support the health of the communities we serve.

We have developed a Climate Action Plan to strengthen our commitment to protect our community and pledge to:

  • Reduce our greenhouse gas emissions 50% by 2030 and reach net zero emissions by 2050.

  • Become more resilient to the impacts of climate change.

  • Engage with staff and our community to promote climate education and encourage action.
