Shoulder procedures performed at Abbott Northwestern Hospital include, but are not limited to: total shoulder replacement, reverse shoulder replacement, revision shoulder replacement, arthroscopic and open rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic and open instability repair, and complex tendon transfers.
Recent efforts have focused on increasing collaboration between physicians and staff to establish a comprehensive program for patients undergoing shoulder replacement. This new Shoulder Program facilitates coordination of preoperative and postoperative care, enriches patient education and has reduced length of hospital stay.
