Valet parking & drop-off/pick-up
Convenient valet parking is available at the Main Hospital West Building entrance, Courage Kenny entrance (access from 28th Street, left lane) or at the Piper Building entrance (corner of 10th Avenue and 26th Street).
Parking
Park in the Purple Ramp by entering from Chicago Avenue or eastbound East 28th Street. The ramp lobby and skyway entrance is on Level 3. You may walk to the hospital campus or catch a free ride through the skyway via our electric cart service, available 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Emergency department entrance
The entrance to the Emergency Department is now at the Piper Building on the corner of 26th Street and 10th Avenue. Follow signs to the west side entrance (access from 26th Street) if you are driving or walking to the emergency Department.

Campus revitalization project
Abbott Northwestern Hospital is undergoing a 10-year campus revitalization project that will create a new state-of-the art building for surgery services and critical care. The project also includes a new Central Utility Plant that produces efficient energy for the hospital campus and the Purple Parking Ramp, which accommodates multiple modes of transportation.
