  • The Dragonfly story

The dragonfly is a symbol of transformation. When a hospice patient is actively dying at J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice, a stained glass dragonfly ornament is hung on the patient’s door. This is done to let staff, volunteers, family and friends know that the patient is starting a new journey. Family members are grateful to be able to take home the beautiful stained glass ornament as a forever keepsake.
