Stir-fried carrots and peas

Peas are a starchy vegetable but they’re also packed with protein! Protein helps your body recover from tough workouts and fuels your muscles for your next one!


2 teaspoons canola oil
3 large carrots, shredded
1 pound frozen peas, thawed and drained
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


  1. Heat oil over medium heat in a medium frying pan. Turn heat up to medium-high, and add carrots and peas. Stir. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes or until peas are warmed through.
  2. Season with black pepper. Stir. Enjoy warm.
