Baked flounder with caper sauce

Flounder contains all of the essential amino acids (the building blocks of protein) your body needs but cannot make on its own.


1/4 cup fat-free sour cream
1 tablespoon capers, drained
nonstick cooking spray
4 5-ounce flounder fish fillets
freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika


  1. Preheat oven to 425 F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine sour cream and capers to make sauce. Stir. Cover and place in the refrigerator.
  3. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray it with nonstick cooking spray.
  4. Sprinkle fillets with black pepper. Place fish on prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with smoked paprika and bake for another 2 to 3 minutes, until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
  5. Serve warm with caper sauce.
