Smoked almond cheese ball

Almonds may be high-fat but they’re good for your health! The monounsaturated ("good") fat in almonds can help to reduce your risk of heart disease.

12 ounces fat-free cream cheese
12 ounces low-fat cream cheese
1 1/2 tablespoons dried minced onions
2 celery ribs, minced
4 ounces smoked almonds, chopped
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
96 snack crackers

  1. In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients except parsley and crackers.
  2. Form mixture into a ball shape. Cover and place in refrigerator for about 1 hour or until firm.

If you’re allergic to nuts, replace the almonds with a smoky-flavored, low-fat meat or cheese.
