Ingredients

3 tablespoons dried buttermilk
1 1/2 tablespoons dried parsley, crushed to a fine powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons dill seeds, crushed
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
4 8-inch whole-grain, low-fat tortillas
8 romaine lettuce leaves, hard stems removed
8 slices (8 ounces) low-sodium turkey
4 thin slices Swiss cheese, cut into halves
2 medium tomatoes, each cut into 8 slices

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the dried buttermilk and spices. Then add the softened cream cheese. Mix until well-blended.
  2. Spread 1 1/2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture on each tortilla. On one half of each tortilla, place 2 lettuce leaves, 2 slices (2 ounces) turkey, 2 halves of the Swiss cheese and 4 slices tomato. Roll each tortilla and pierce it with two toothpicks to hold it in place.
  3. Cut each tortilla down the middle, between the toothpicks. Remove toothpicks and place roll-ups seam-side-down on the platter.
  4. Serve immediately or cover and store in the refrigerator.
