Application Process

Full application due annually before September 1. You will be able to apply after July 15.

1. Gather the following documentation:
   • Three letters of recommendation (at least one of which speak to your current catheterization laboratory skills)
   • Current curriculum vitae (CV)/bibliography
   • Personal statement
2. Once complete send full applications to Andrea.Sweeney@allina.com, Mario.Goessl@allina.com and Meghan.Hoover@allina.com.
3. The interview, should you be invited, will occur in October 2021. Historically, our interview process has been in person and candidates are responsible for their own transportation & expenses to attend the interview. Our Valve/SHD Fellowship is posted on ACC & SCAI.

Advanced Adult Structural and Congenital Heart Disease Interventions Fellowship program requirements:

• Confirm you are eligible to apply for MN Medical Licensure.
• After confirming your Minnesota Medical Licensure, you will need to apply for privileges at Abbott Northwestern Hospital as a General Cardiologist.
