Adult treatment programs

Allina Health Outpatient Addiction Services – Cambridge Medical Center offers a number of programs to meet the needs of adults, 18 years and older:

  • walk-in comprehensive substance use disorder assessments
  • individual treatment sessions with a licensed alcohol and drug counselor and/or a mental health therapist
  • co-occurring services for mental health and substance use disorders
  • mobile assessments in a hospital, clinic or community setting
  • access to medication management
  • Intensive Outpatient Program
  • morning and afternoon addiction groups  relapse group
  • Alcoholics Anonymous groups
  • SMART Recovery 4-Point Program® (Self Management and Recovery Training)
  • harm reduction for chronic users of substances
  • service coordination
  • family and couples therapy
  • morning and afternoon addiction groups
  • relapse groups
  • additional services, like use of essential oils, and opportunities to learn meditation and relaxation techniques
  • continued intensive outpatient groups facilitated by counselors for adults who have completed any of our primary programs or who have completed a program at another care facility and need further treatment
  • Family/Concerned Persons Program, which recognizes the effects of addiction extend beyond the person who is chemically dependent. Our Education Series on Addiction offers support, education, connection and guidance for friends, parents, spouses and other family members of someone with an addiction
