It is difficult enough to cope with a diagnosis of breast cancer without the added burden of financial stress that can occur as a result. The Hope Fund offers emergency financial assistance to help with expenses during care and treatment.
The Hope Fund is a program of the Cambridge Medical Center Foundation. It is funded through the generous support of the Minnesota Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.
The Hope Fund is available for people who are actively receiving care for breast cancer only. There are no exceptions to this guideline. Active treatment includes chemotherapy, radiation, bone marrow transplant, surgery, lymphedema, cording, hospice, or palliative care.
The fund serves patients who are at least 18 years old and receiving care at Cambridge Medical Center or living in the following counties: Isanti, Chisago, Pine, Mille Lacs, or Kanabec, and do not qualify for other similar programs.
Eligible covered expenses include:
The Hope Fund cannot be used to make credit card payments or to prepay expenses.
