A pickleball court in Eden Prairie became the scene of a medical emergency, when a player collapsed on the court. Lucky for him, his girlfriend is a nurse with
St. Francis Regional Medical Center, and there was an automatic external defibrillator (AED) nearby.
Sunny Saengdara, RN, jumped into action. She used CPR and the AED to keep Rory Bakke alive, until he could get to a hospital. It turns out a rare genetic disorder may have been behind his collapse.
