Successful Start to the 2025 USA Wheelchair Softball World Series

Teams took to the field for the first day of play at the 2025 USA Wheelchair Softball World Series at Mall of America © Fields on Thursday, August 14. More than 300 athletes made up the 18 teams who competed to win it all. The MN Rolling Twins were the 2024 champions, but a team from Nebraska ultimately won the 2025 event. The MN Rolling Twins took third place.
It had been a decade since the event was last held in the Twin Cities. Allina Health Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute hosted the three-day event with help from supporting sponsors, The Minnesota Twins Community Fund and Mortenson. Local media interviewed players and organizers.
