Successful Start to the 2025 USA Wheelchair Softball World Series

[Fox 9 News, August 14, 2025] Teams took to the field for the first day of play at the 2025 USA Wheelchair Softball World Series at Mall of America © Fields on Thursday, August 14. More than 300 athletes made up the 18 teams who competed to win it all. The MN Rolling Twins were the 2024 champions, but a team from Nebraska ultimately won the 2025 event. The MN Rolling Twins took third place.

It had been a decade since the event was last held in the Twin Cities. Allina Health Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute hosted the three-day event with help from supporting sponsors, The Minnesota Twins Community Fund and Mortenson. Local media interviewed players and organizers.
