Retired Allina Health employee becomes 2025 nominee for U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Hall of Fame

[CCX Media, April 08, 2025] A retired Allina Health employee is a 2025 nominee for the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Hall of Fame. Susan Hagel is a pioneer in women’s adaptive sports, specifically adaptive archery and wheelchair basketball. She competed in six paralympic games dating back to 1976 and has four gold medals. Hagel spent decades working as a therapeutic recreation therapist at Allina Health Courage Kenny, formerly known as Sister Kenny, inspiring and motivating people to try adaptive sports. CCX Media spoke to Susan about her incredible achievements.
