Full scholarship for future EMTs

[KEYC-TV, November 29, 2023] As KEYC reports below, there is a need for more medical response professionals such as emergency medical technicians (EMT) in many Minnesota communities. To help fill that need, Allina Health is part of a partnership offering a EMT scholarship program. It covers 100% of tuition.

• The deadline to apply for the scholarships is Friday, Jan. 12, 2024.
• Training would begin Feb. 5, 2024, and end June 19, 2024.
• The scholarship would cover 100% of the tuition and the $100 exam fee, which will be taken once recipients complete the 160-hours of in-class training and ambulance ride-alongs.
• Scholarship recipients are required to serve as an EMT in one of the following communities: New Ulm, Springfield, Lamberton, Winthrop, Courtland, Fairfax, Lafayette or Sleepy Eye.
