Allina Health doctor helps mentor future Native American clinicians

[WCCO-TV News, November 28, 2023] Christine Athmann, MD is a family physician at Allina Health who is passionate about creating and supporting opportunities in health care for students of Native American descent. As a descendent of the White Earth Nation, she says the mentorship of Native American clinicians played a vital role in her training to become a doctor, and now she’s paying it forward. She spoke to WCCO-TV about her work to help the next generation of Native American doctors.
